The band this week released the second single “Sun Seeker.” “Lyrically, ‘Sun Seeker’ is about being the only one who can say who you are,” vocalist and lyricist Catrin Vincent says. “It’s also about letting things self-destruct and then rebuilding. Someone once said they’d tell me when to quit music. This is me saying, I say who I am and I say when I’m done.”

I Saw Love
“The seed of 'I Saw Love' started from a memory of a bassline of an Arthur Russell song. As I constructed the song, it became a story of moods, rather than words, like passing through a haunted funhouse of mirrors, traveling from optimism to triumph, despair, and ecstasy,” explains NYC-based indie electro pop artist Michael Tapper of Practice to American Songwriter (who yesterday premiered the single/video). “I Saw Love” is the second single off his debut album Not A Game (out in early 2021).
Filmed at a remote cabin in the Catskills of upstate New York around Halloween (pre-COVID). Tapper recalls that it “seemed appropriate” to run with the ominous, spooky mood themes for the accompanying music video. “I wanted it to be an allegory about being pursued by love, but with love as death.” Using early Luis Buñuel films as inspiration, he and his wife brainstormed ways to use simple camera and editing tricks to bring it to life and add a touch of surrealism.

Patrick Watson - Lost With You (Official Video)
Patrick Watson unveiled today his new track and video entitled "Lost With You." Recorded during the current pandemic, Patrick felt the urge to reach out to his fans and offer a little comfort. "I wanted to share this song with you," says Patrick. "I hope it keeps you good company."
The accompanying music video was directed by Watson himself with the additional craft of Arizona O'Neill who directed the "Here Comes The River" video. Patrick explains, "I'm not going to lie but finally my embarrassing rollerblading skills came in handy to film this. Homemade Covid videos are very fun to make. I just kept seeing people biking when I heard this song. A big special thanks to Arizona O'Neill for editing and art directing, and a huge thank you to the talented bikers."
