"’5
AM is my love story,’ stated Brooke. “Each line in this song is a
glimpse into moments of falling in love with my wife, dreaming about our
wedding day, and reminiscing about first discovering our deep
connection. Something about the atmosphere of this song makes me picture
the sunset in California. I had the idea to shoot this video out there
so we teamed up with Genéa Gaudet to make it happen. Her vision placed
me in the most beautiful setting, singing in the desert, and dancing on a
hilltop at sunset.”
Lead single “What If You” is also out now, a lush dreamy track that FLOOD called “immediately catchy.”
Brooke's
expressive and beautifully thoughtful songwriting creates a dreamy and
enticing sonic landscape. She has been a favorite among music
supervisors and featured in such media as Stereogum, Wall Street Journal, Billboard, NPR/World Café, Consequence, Paste, Under The Radar, American Songwriter and now Music Film Fashion Blog. She has also shared the stage with artists like Mt. Joy, Iron & Wine, Lucius, and Rufus Wainwright.
