Nashville-based group Cabin Boys released a timely new single called “Made In The USA.” Composed of renowned songwriters Colin Elmore, Carl Anderson, Tim Bruns, Reuben Bidez, and Jesse Thompson,
the sonically lighthearted song is the group’s first foray into social
commentary — an exploration of the absurd. “We got together and wrote at
the end of another heartbreaking day in America,” stated the band. “We
were frustrated, scared and in disbelief. We were all in a pretty dark
place that night. We arrived at satire, the only palatable way we knew
how to express our feelings.”

merely took forced isolation to bring Cabin Boys together. After years
of hearsay and hundreds of happy hours, they finally had time
to continue what they had started. A proverbial tour de force, Cabin
Boys are made up of an East Nashville conglomerate of
premier songwriters. Founded in late 2018 by Elmore, Anderson, and
Bruns, the fledgling group knew there was a spark. The following year
they added the likes of ace songwriter Bidez and utility craftsman
Thompson (Charlie Treat, Reed Waddle) to bring that much needed
beard wax to hold the whole thing together. The group stormed last
year’s AmericanaFest with a string of acclaimed shows which was
followed soon after by the surprise release of their full-length debut Cabin Fever.
