Big Joanie
Big Joanie is a British Black Feminist Punk Band formed in the heart of London's DIY punk scene. The band (featuring guitarist Stephanie Phillips, bassist Estella Adeyeri, and drummer Chardine Taylor-Stone). The bands lyrics are rich with the strength, vulnerability and sensibility that defines the punk genre.

The band is a cocktail of early 80s punk meet riot -grrrl of the 90s. Their songs often address many issues relating to various topics much as the riot- grrrl movement did.
