This webinar looks at some of the newest innovations in textile fibers. These fibers are made of natural elements and, unlike the majority our clothing, do not contain oil-based synthetic materials that are toxic, highly polluting and do not break down. When our air, soil, fresh waters and oceans are filled with microplastics that are shed from our synthetic clothing – when we are eating, drinking, and breathing them with no true understanding of their effects – it’s time to find alternatives. These new fibers are the alternatives.
